Good morning! In contrast to my last two posts, this one is quite brief. The reason our sign says that our farm market is closed today is that our daughter, Mary-Kaitlyn (“MK”), turns 21 on Sunday. We can’t celebrate her milestone birthday on the 4th because she has a collegiate soccer game, so we’re earnestly trying to cram a little celebrating into today’s schedule. She’s a senior this year and, well, in spite of loving our customers and our flowers, family comes first in our house. (Also, as you will see in the attached video, I haven’t gotten a lot of sleep lately, so this break will allow me to re-energize as we approach the last few weeks of our season.)
